Meneghetti wines - the truth that everyone likes

The 'red soil' (terra rossa) around the Meneghetti Wine Hotel is a strong and poor soil, richer in stone than soil, intense, mineral and rich in iron, suitable for growing red grape varieties. It is protected by a small hill to the south that prevents excessive humidity, and allows the vines to live a healthy life and strong aromas. The "red soil" of the Meneghetti vineyards is cultivated in an ecologically sustainable way with a deep respect for nature. The vines are pruned by hand using the Simonit & Sirch method, which is gentle, with the aim of preserving the plant so that it can reach a great age. In addition to indigenous varieties, international grape varieties are also grown, to which the local terroir, characteristic soil and environment full of Mediterranean vegetation give their uniqueness. The wines are produced with modern technologies and reflect the character of Istria, while at the same time exceeding its borders with their quality.
