Debit is a versatile grape that can be made into a variety of styles. However, historically the most significant and most important is the traditional “zutina” which loosely translates into yellow wine. What has recently been popularized throughout the world as “orange wine” or “amber wine”, has been our norm and a common wine of rural Dalmatia for centuries. This wine is dedicated to our grandpa who, to this day, prefers to drink his zutina. Oya noya, a verse from the traditional song of ancient Dalmatia brings out something energetically primal in us. The wine is traditional, full bodied and firm.
